Andrea Ault-Brutus, MPA, Ph.D
Dr. Andrea Ault-Brutus is a public health professional and a health equity researcher with over 20 years of experience improving access to quality health care and improving health outcomes for vulnerable, underserved populations. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Science Education Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University/Northwell. She recently served as the Director of Health Equity for the Nassau County Department of Health. Previously, Dr. Ault-Brutus was the Senior Director of the Mental Health Innovation Lab at the New York City Department of Health, and prior to that, she was the Associate Director of the Health Equity Research Lab at Cambridge Health Alliance/ Harvard Medical School. She received her M.P.A. in Health Policy & Management from New York University and her Ph.D. in Health Policy from Harvard University. She volunteers with numerous community groups throughout Nassau County, including serving as a member of the Long Island Health Equity Taskforce, a member of the Urban League of Long Island, State of Black Long Island Equity Council, and a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association, Long Island Chapter.
